The Company may terminate an employee’s employment for unsatisfactory performance, violations of Company policy, lack or work, job eliminations, or any other reason it deems appropriate.

Termination of employment is generally used for serious and/or continued unacceptable performance/behavior when the employee has not shown improvement or is unwilling to improve.

Immediate termination may be appropriate based on the severity of the employee’s performance or behavior.  Please refer to the Performance Management Policy in the EssilorLuxottica Employee Guide for a non-inclusive list of conduct examples that may warrant immediate termination.

If you are considering termination of employment, you are required to partner with Employee Relations via e-Service  before moving forward. Please refer here to determine if Employee Relations support is required before proceeding.
