After you complete the employee’s performance review form, you should schedule time to meet with him/her to deliver the review during a scheduled shift. Performance reviews are confidential, and the meeting should be conducted at a private area of the work location where you and the employee can have an open and honest discussion that others will not overhear.

For annual performance review conversations, be sure to review the reference materials that are distributed prior to the annual review period.
